NEW MUSIC & 2020 NEWSLETTER

Here's the thing... This collection is unlike anything we've released, ever. It fits NONE of the preconceived notions of what production music sounds like. We brought Bira on board to write for us from a hot tip via one of our fave clients, and after we became obsessed with his Instagram feed. Once Bira completed his part, we brought in live horns and live drums(courtesy of the incomparable Noah Levy of the Honeydogs and Brian Setzer), to push them over the top.

LISTEN UP!

Paul is a composer, songwriter, jazz clarinetist, and all-around nice guy. Although he writes all sorts of music, it tends to carry a unifying thread of the cinematic with spaghetti western, Eastern European folk, film noir, psychedelic shoe gaze, gutter blues and indie rock influences.

NEW RELEASE! FEATURED ARTIST: AFROKEYS

Afrokeys is a self-titled R&B collection produced by artist and composer Erick Anderson. Each track is like a different cocktail with dashes of vintage horns, keys, and groovy beats.

An accomplished musician, producer, and composer, Erick is the founder of Blackwave Music Group - an artists-owned collective and record label. After studying music at Florida A&M, IPR, and Berklee, Erick spent eight years touring, writing, and performing with hip-hop group Atmosphere.

NEW RELEASE

The music's lyrical concepts cover self-empowerment, love, and positive thinking set over instrumental beds that explore the sonic spectrum while driving the point forward. The result is a collection of songs that set the soundtrack for positive individual and communal growth.

NEW MUSIC & SPRING NEWSLETTER

Lets. Do. This. Spring. Is. Here. New music + News

LEE BARBOUR :: LA POMPE

This jazz collection was a commission project created with Charleston based jazz musician and composer Lee Barbour. Some call it gypsy jazz, gypsy swing, or jazz manouche. This time we're calling it by another one of its names, hot club jazz, and chose the title "La Pompe" which is when rhythm guitar in this genre uses a special form of strumming known as "la pompe", i.e. "the pump".
