MARK MCGEE

Mark McGee is a composer and producer from Minneapolis, MN currently residing in Los Angeles. His projects include RONiiA, Marijuana Deathsquads, Father You See Queen, and To Kill a Petty Bourgeoisie. He recently released a solo composition entitled Curse the Day that Birthed the Bastard through his MAKR moniker along with an original score commissioned by the Walker Art Center for Lotte Reiniger's 1926 animation, The Adventures of Prince Achmed. His musical strengths involve a special interest in texture and nuance that sometimes lack in popular music. The music Mark makes tends to reflect a more moody and brooding atmosphere.
