Kerry Alexander, also known in the Black Label Music catalog as Kerry Roy, is a Minneapolis-born singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist known for her vivid storytelling and melodic pop sensibilities. As a contributor to Black Label’s Electric Youth album, Kerry brought her sharp lyrical voice and polished songwriting to the world of sync, blending nostalgic tones with modern energy. Beyond her work in sync, Kerry is the frontwoman of acclaimed indie-pop band Bad Bad Hats, a project she co-founded while attending Macalester College. The band has toured nationally with acts like The Beths, Hippo Campus, and Michelle Branch, and earned critical acclaim from outlets like Pitchfork, Paste, and The Current.
