RZ Shahid
RZ Shahid is a multidisciplinary artist, creative entrepreneur, and founder of Art of Xanadu (AOX)—a visionary platform that blends music, fashion, film, and wellness into immersive storytelling experiences. Based in Minnesota, RZ has become a standout voice in the Twin Cities arts scene, known for fusing hip-hop, R&B, jazz, and alternative influences into emotionally resonant, groove-driven soundscapes.
Since debuting with Journey to the Xanadu in 2018, RZ has released projects like Leadfoot (2019) and Ahh Shii (2020), and has performed at major events including The Cedar Commissions and Art Shanty Projects. Their work often explores themes of vulnerability, resilience, and freedom—both personal and collective.
Beyond music, RZ is a certified yoga instructor who integrates mindfulness and movement into their creative process. Through AOX, they aim to create a “paradise” where art becomes a tool for healing, empowerment, and self-expression.
